Mattress Size Guide
Mattress names are not standard between brands. Always use exact centimetre measurements and confirm the product dimensions before ordering.
Common mattress sizes in the UAE

|---|---|---|
| Single | 90 × 190 cm or 90 × 200 cm | One child, teenager or adult; compact rooms |

How to measure the bed frame
- Remove bedding and, where practical, the existing mattress.
- Measure the inside width from side rail to side rail at several points.
- Measure the inside length from head to foot.
- Measure any recessed depth and note headboard, footboard or adjustable-base limits.
- Use the smallest measurement if the frame is not perfectly square.
Allow for manufacturing tolerance
Soft upholstered products can have a reasonable dimensional tolerance, and compressed mattresses may need time to recover their intended shape. Ask for the product-specific tolerance if the bed frame fit is extremely tight.
Choose a size for two sleepers
More width generally reduces disturbance and gives each sleeper room to change position. A Queen size is a popular starting point for couples, while King and Super King offer more personal space when the room and delivery route can accommodate them. Consider who sleeps in the bed, whether children or pets sometimes join, and the space needed for bedside furniture.
Check the bedroom layout
Leave enough clearance to walk around the bed, open wardrobes and drawers, and access sockets or air-conditioning controls. Mark the planned mattress footprint on the floor with removable tape to understand the real scale before buying.
Measure the delivery route
Check entrance doors, lift doors and internal dimensions, stair width and turns, corridor corners and the final bedroom doorway. Mattress flexibility differs by construction; do not assume a rigid or thick mattress can be bent to fit.
Mattress height matters
Combine the base and mattress heights to estimate the final sleeping height. A very deep mattress can cover a headboard, make fitted sheets harder to find or make getting in and out of bed more difficult.
Special and custom sizes
Availability of a special size depends on the product and supplier and must be confirmed before payment. Custom and made-to-order items can have longer lead times and different cancellation or return conditions. Confirm all dimensions in writing.
